Here’s What’s Included

Session One: What is the problem and how did we get here?

                          Solving Overhunger. Cravings vs Emotions.

                          Intermittent Fasting. Why Losing Weight is Hard.

                          What Do I Eat?

(Worksheets- creating your eating protocol, Hunger as a tool 1&2, Food journaling, giving up sugar and flour, healthy eating plan)

Session Two:  Solving Over desire.

                           Desire. Willpower. Now Appeal.

                           Allowing & Processing Urges, Feelings

(100 allowed urges, Urge, overeating feelings)

Session Three: Diet Mentality & Deprivation.

                            Embracing Discomfort. Decisions Ahead of Time

                            Meditation. Creating Comfort.

(Symptoms you’ll experience, meditation audio, Making your own list of creating comfort)

Session Four: False Pleasure vs. Well-Being.

                          Thinking. The Model

(Well-being vs false pleasures, commitment, obstacles/strategies, natural weight commitment, future focus, thought errors, Tedious Powerful part 1, part 2, visualize yourself at your ideal weight)

Session Five: Putting it all together. Practicing the Model.

Session Six: Practice Practice Practice

Workbook, Healthy eating plan with recipes, Good Fats, Protein Handout.

Sessions are one hour, weekly for 6 weeks.

About Bronwyn

Bronwyn owns Empowered Wellness, where she provides group and individual coaching and teaches Resilience, a Mind-Body Medicine program. She is also a Family Nurse Practitioner and owner of The Colorado Center For Lifestyle Medicine. She is passionate about lifestyle and functional medicine.

• 1998 Bronwyn graduated cum laude from The Medical College of Virginia with a bachelors in Nursing Science.
• 2001 renamed Virginia Commonwealth University, summa cum laude with a masters in Nursing Science. Member of Phi Beta Kappa.
• 2008 Diplomat of The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Bronwyn has four children, eight grandchildren, is happily married and lives in Colorado. She is very active and enjoys her activities seasonally: hiking, cycling, camping, paddle boarding, swimming, skiing, and yoga every day. Though she grew up in central Virginia with summers at the Chesapeake Bay, Mountains are home to her. But, warm salt water is required at least once a year!
